I’ve always been a sucker for color and pattern, lingering a little too long in the Sharpie section at the craft store, but never dreamt I could be a *real* artist. But when my husband and I lost 3 babies within 9 months to miscarriage, I needed something tangible and a way to process my pain. During those grief-filled years, most of my paintings were only for me. After seeing other people’s pain, and with encouragement from friends and family, Rain and Sprout was born. Today I paint mostly textured florals and abstracts, seeking to connect with you despite the pain that life can bring.
