In January, I vowed to paint birth month flowers for you by the start of each month, a commitment that I knew would challenge me in every way. I’m proud to say I did it! Maybe limping and a little sleep deprived, but here they are: six December Narcissus blooms for you.
I chose the narcissus flower over holly, mainly because they seem to be less bound to the season and would fit in one’s decor more easily, but after reading about these paperwhite bulbs symbolizing faithfulness, new beginnings, and rebirth, I knew I had to paint them.
2025 began on shaky ground with both my husband and I walking away from jobs we loved and pursuing our own individual businesses. It has been a year of trial and error, adjustments, and so much restored hope- precisely what these flowers represent.
I hope you find one that speaks to you.
May you end this year peacefully, knowing God is faithful and renews all things.
