Anyone read that children’s book about the little mouse named Chrysanthemum? I just had a flash back as I typed out the title for this page and remembered her name consisted of 13 letters- half of the alphabet!
Nostalgia is in the air the last couple of weeks. Maybe because here in Mississippi, we are getting an actual autumn with the cooler weather. I would love to curl up with some childhood classics this season. Adding “Chrysanthemum” to my library list.
November is my favorite month, with all the excitement and anticipation of the holidays, the break from the oppressive heat, our wedding anniversary, and so much more. I have painted 4 mums in different colors for this month’s release- I love that these flowers have so much variety. Each painting is 4×4, completely unique with thick acrylic paint, and sealed with a protective varnish.
