This painting came to life over the span of two years. She hung in my daughter’s bedroom (which used to be my studio!) for a couple of months until we were ready to part with her. If she represents the last two years, pain, growth, stirring, and resolve are the words that come to mind. We just closed the hardest year of our lives, maybe limping, but there is hope. There is more.
