tomato, tomahto
Recently, I participated in Nashville’s annual Tomato Art Fest and had the best time meeting people, seeing super fun costumes, and celebrating the most versatile fruit (or veggie?). I painted several tomatoes for the first time ever and they flew off the shelves. It was such an incredible weekend. Needless to say, I’m hooked.
I returned home and just had to paint more! Each of these is a one of a kind painting on a 4×4 canvas. I am known for thick texture and “messy” art with gold accents, so I think the tomato makes a great subject. All 8 are sealed with a protective varnish to ensure protection for years to come.
